Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is hopeful that he can continue to improve after committing his long-term future to the club.
The 27-year-old signed a new four-year deal with Paul Lambert's side to keep him at Villa Park until 2018, and the forward feels that he has developed as a player after becoming an integral part of the first team.
Agbonlahor told The Mirror: "Hopefully the rest of my best years are going to be at this club. I still feel very quick. I have adapted since I broke through.
"If you look at my stature, I was about eight stone then, but football has changed a lot and if you are going to play the lone striker you have to be able to hold the ball up."
Villa face Liverpool in their Premier League clash later today.
