Aston Villa attacker Gabriel Agbonlahor has successfully appealed the red card that he received at the weekend.
The 28-year-old was dismissed for the first time in his career when referee Lee Mason deemed his challenge on Manchester United full-back Ashley Young to have been dangerous play.
However, after the final whistle, Villa boss Paul Lambert criticised the decision to send off his player and revealed that the club would challenge the verdict.
The case was heard this afternoon, with the panel deciding to overturn Mason's original ruling.
As a result, Agbonlahor will now be available to Lambert for the Boxing Day trip to Swansea City.
