Aston Villa have appealed Gabriel Agbonlahor's recent red card against Manchester United.
The 28-year-old was sent off for a challenge on Ashley Young during Saturday's 1-1 draw between the sides at Villa Park.
Villa boss Paul Lambert confirmed after the match that the club would be appealing against the decision from referee Lee Mason.
The Villans could find out by Tuesday afternoon if Agbonlahor will be available for their trip to Swansea City on Boxing Day.
