Former Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni has reportedly emerged as a potential target for Aston Villa.
The West Midlands outfit have only won three of their opening nine matches in the Championship this season, and it has resulted in the pressure building on current manager Steve Bruce.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, that has led to Villa's new owners Naseef Sawiris and Wes Edens considering their options and it appears that Stramaccioni could be on their radar.
The 42-year-old won 31 of his 65 matches in charge of Inter between March 2012 and May 2013, while spells have also been spent at Udinese, Panathinaikos and Sparta Prague.
Stramaccioni's only trophy as a manager came with Inter's academy side when they won the NextGen Series in 2012 before the UEFA Youth League was created a year later.
