George Boateng has revealed his "dream" to one day become the manager of Aston Villa.
Boateng played for several clubs in the Premier League including Villa from 1999-2002, and the combative midfielder, who now plays in Malaysia, has admitted that he would like to be in the dugout at Villa Park.
"When I finish playing, my dream managerial job would be Aston Villa," he told the Daily Mail.
"They have the training ground, the fan base, great stadium, and I love the ground – it's so big, if you've got good players, they'll make it work.
"I hated going to smaller grounds like Bradford [City] and Portsmouth. You want to play passing football but you can't, people are constantly in your face. There's no space."
The Ghanaian also played for Middlesbrough, Coventry City, Hull City and Nottingham Forest during his time in English football.
