Aston Villa have announced that Stephen Clemence has joined Steve Bruce's backroom team.
The 38-year-old, who previously played for Tottenham Hotspur, has opted to vacate his position at Hull City to move to Villa Park.
Clemence worked alongside Bruce at the KCOM Stadium, and now that the 55-year-old has been appointed as Villa manager, his former colleague has decided to join him.
The Championship club announced via their official Twitter page the arrival of Clemence, who also had spells at Birmingham City and Leicester City in his playing career.
The club have confirmed that he will work as first-team coach at the Midlands outfit.
Villa are currently 19th in the league table.
