Aston Villa's on-loan midfielder Tom Cleverley believes that the team can take plenty of positives from their defeat to Chelsea.
Paul Lambert's men were on the end of a 3-0 loss at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Midlands side have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League following a four-game unbeaten run.
"You don't want to concede early like we did but after that we knuckled down and kept them in front of us, kept the ball well when we had it and created one or two of our own opportunities," Cleverley told the club's official website.
"The goals came at the wrong times for us, but there were positives so let's not let our heads drop too much from this and prepare for next weekend."
Villa will take on reigning champions Manchester City next Saturday evening.
