Richard Dunne could miss a month of the season with a shoulder injury, according to Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish.
Dunne, 32, suffered the knock in the latter stages of Sunday's 1-0 loss to Manchester City, when he collided with City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
"He's not going to be back for the next game, that's for sure. I don't know at this moment exactly what's happened but he's definitely damaged his shoulder. I do believe he is going to be out for at least a month," McLeish told Sky Sports News.
Villa were booed off by their home support after a frustrating afternoon of football.
