Aston Villa midfielder Joe Cole has said that he remains "very confident" in manager Paul Lambert.
Lambert has been criticised by the Villa supporters, who have seen their side score just 11 Premier League goals all season and fail to win a league game since early December.
However, Cole told reporters: "This is no time for pointing fingers because we are all going through the same results and frustration. The worst thing you can do is start blaming each other or looking for scapegoats because this is not one man's problem- it's for all of us to solve together: manager, players, staff and supporters.
"I'm confident in this team, the manager and the collective strength of Aston Villa. This is a good club, quite a few of the lads have been in this situation for three or four years, they know what it takes to stay up and I honestly think we'll be OK."
Villa face Liverpool in their next outing on Saturday.
