Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has admitted that he was impressed with Jordan Bowery's performance in the 3-1 win away to Stoke City.
Bowery made just his third start for Villa against Stoke but he did enough to warrant being singled out by Lambert ahead of the Fulham game.
"I get great satisfaction seeing footballers doing well, it's never about myself," Lambert told Villa's official website.
"Jordan was excellent at Stoke. He hasn't played for a long time. He's a young lad, but he's another one who has got a lot of potential.
"I thought he was outstanding on the right side for us. He did brilliantly for the first goal with Matthew Lowton. His general performance was excellent. He was a threat during the time he was on and one bit of skill was outstanding."
Villa are two points above the Premier League relegation zone.
