Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted that he hasn't fallen out with club striker Darren Bent.
The England striker has found his game time very limited so far this season, and was left out of the squad for Monday's 1-0 win over Reading.
Rumour has it that Bent clashed with Lambert earlier on in the season due to his decreased number of appearances. However, the Villa chief is adamant that there has been no bust-up between the two.
"If there was [a falling-out] I'd be the first to tell you," said Lambert.
"He's fit and he's training really fine, I just tried to pick a team that I thought would win the game.
"Everybody [has a future at the club], I don't have any problems, I just try and pick the right team and do what's right for Aston Villa football club and I'll always continue to do that."
