Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted that his side will recover from their 4-1 defeat to Stoke City at Villa Park on Sunday.
The Midlands club suffered their heaviest league defeat of the season just a week after they beat Chelsea 1-0.
However, Lambert has said that he does not get carried away by one result.
"I never look at it and think we have achieved anything. As quick as you win it you let it go and it's the same as a defeat and a draw," the Villa boss told the Express & Star.
"You pick yourself up and go again. They are a young group and will bounce back from it, as long as it never manifests and there's negativity about the place.
"You get hurt and knocked down and you get back up and want more."
Villa travel to Manchester United on Saturday.
