Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has said that any protests from fans will not faze him as he keeps on fighting.
Some Villa supporters have planned a pre-match demonstration against McLeish before the game against Manchester City.
However, the Scottish coach has said that he will not be losing any sleep over anything the fans have planned, and remains totally focused on leading the Midlands club away from the relegation zone.
"I knew there were a few Villa supporters at the start of the season who expressed their dissent at me becoming manager," said the former Scotland boss.
"It's not something I'm going to say I enjoy, because we all like to be popular. It's a minority but it's something that's out of my control.
"The one thing I can control is the team and the effort they put in to get the best out of them, because I know I'm pretty good at that."
McLeish joined Villa in the summer from local rivals Birmingham, who were relegated.
