Aston Villa recorded their second draw of pre-season as they were held 1-1 by German side SC Paderborn.
Paul Lambert's team fell behind in the 22nd minute as Thomas Bertels raided down the left and crossed for Rick ten Voorde, who slotted the ball home.
Villa made changes after the break and one of those substitutes, Andreas Weimann, found the equaliser for Villa as they hit the hosts on the counter and he rounded the keeper and found the net.
Weimann could have won the game for the visitors but his shot, which looked set for the top corner, was turned past the post by the Paderborn keeper.
Minutes later the striker fired an effort wide of the post, as his side were forced to settle for a draw for the second game in a row.
