Aston Villa will allegedly make a move for former Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick.
The 30-year-old forward is a free agent after leaving Portman Road, where he scored 41 goals in 145 appearances before departing at the end of last season.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Villa, who were linked with McGoldrick in the January transfer window, will rekindle their interest in the player this summer.
The newspaper adds that West Bromwich Albion and Bristol City could also join the chase as the three clubs look to add attacking reinforcements to their teams ahead of the new campaign.
McGoldrick, a Republic of Ireland international, has netted six times for his country.
