Besiktas have reportedly identified Aston Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland as a potential signing for the next transfer window.
With Loris Karius due to return to Liverpool at the end of his two-year loan spell, Besiktas must enter the market for a replacement.
According to Fanatik, this has resulted in interest in Nyland, who currently finds himself as third choice at Villa Park.
While the Norway international could move up the pecking order if the West Midlands outfit are relegated from the Premier League, the 29-year-old may still find himself as deputy to Tom Heaton.
As Nyland has just over a year left on his contract, Villa must decide whether they wish to cash in on the stopper at the next opportunity.
The fringe member has made 31 appearances since arriving at Villa in 2018.
