Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted that he is not worried by speculation linking Christian Benteke with a move away from the club.
The 22-year-old Belgian striker has scored 15 goals for Villa since September in what is his first season in English football.
Despite a number of teams reportedly interested in the former Genk forward, Lambert believes that he could yet stay with the Premier League strugglers.
"I don't think you can stop clubs from trying to make a bid for him," the Scot told reporters. "They might take a punt. He has a few years left here. It's not something I worry about. I know he has been playing well."
Benteke has three years remaining on his current contract with the Midlands club.
