Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has refused to reveal whether Darren Bent will be leaving the club this summer.
The striker has featured little for Villa this season but found the net during Sunday's 2-2 draw at Wigan Athletic in the Premier League.
When asked if the 29-year-old would be sold in the coming months, Lambert told Sky Sports News: "That's an unfair question. We've just played a game.
"It's not over one player, it never is, and as I've said, we're going to sit and evaluate what's been happening with everybody, including the chairman."
Sunday's draw means that Villa have finished the season in 15th place in the table.
