Joleon Lescott has reportedly been in talks with Aston Villa after expressing a desire to leave West Bromwich Albion.
The defender joined the Baggies last summer, but has not been a regular in the first team since Tony Pulis's appointment midway through the season.
According to The Telegraph, Villa are hoping to complete a £1.5m deal to bring in the former England international on a two-year deal before Tuesday's deadline.
However, it has been reported that Lescott will only be allowed to leave if Villa can add another defender before the transfer window closes.
