West Bromwich Albion defender Joleon Lescott has reportedly agreed a contract extension with the club.
Lescott joined the Baggies on a two-year deal last summer after leaving Manchester City, but recent reports had suggested that he could be leaving The Hawthorns following reported interest from Aston Villa.
However, the Daily Mail claims that the 33-year-old will put an end to the speculation with the announcement of a new deal within the next 48 hours.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis left Lescott on the bench in Saturday's goalless draw with Watford, but the former England defender is likely to play a key role throughout the campaign.
The Baggies return to action against Chelsea on Sunday.
