Aston Villa are ready to offer Fabian Delph a new four-year deal to ward off interest in the midfielder, according to a report.
The 24-year-old has impressed with his performances over the past year for the Villans, which has seen him earn a place in the England squad.
Delph is currently in the final year of his contract and Paul Lambert is keen to tie down the midfielder to a long-term deal, as he could leave the club in a Bosman deal if no agreement can be made.
The former Leeds United man is considering his options as he could also be offloaded in January, with several teams interested in his services, reports The Mirror.
Delph joined Villa in 2009 in a £8m deal from Leeds.
