Aston Villa striker Darren Bent is reportedly a summer transfer target of Super Lig outfit Konyaspor.

Turkish club Konyaspor have reportedly made Darren Bent one of their major transfer targets.

The former England international will become a free agent later this month when his Aston Villa contract expires.

Derby County, who had the striker on a loan basis for part of last season, are the favourites to sign him permanently, but Konyaspor are now also in the running, according to Eurosport TR.

The Green and Whites finished eighth in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
