Aston Villa are reportedly preparing a summer bid for Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann.
The centre-back previously worked with Villa boss Alex McLeish at Birmingham City.
Struggling Rovers are thought to be expecting an offer from the Midlands club, according to The Mirror.
Dann could find himself as a replacement for either James Collins or Richard Dunne, who have both been linked with moves away from Villa Park.
