Aston Villa have reportedly make an official approach for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
The West Midlands outfit have already made six first-team additions since earning promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs.
However, a new stopper remains on Dean Smith's agenda, and The Sun claims that a £7m offer has been made for England international Heaton.
The 33-year-old has spent the last six years at Turf Moor, although the veteran is currently in a stand-off with club officials over fresh terms.
Heaton has 12 months remaining on his current deal, leaving Burnley in a position where they will have to consider any bids in the coming weeks.
A move for Heaton comes at a time when Villa have allegedly ended their interest in Stoke City's Jack Butland.
