Scottish defender Alan Hutton has reportedly been told that he is surplus to requirements at Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old moved to Villa Park from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2011 and, despite featuring 34 times for the Midlanders last season, he was booed on numerous occasions by sections of the club's supporters, who were unimpressed with his form.
New Villa boss Paul Lambert, who reportedly wants to bring in Spurs right-back Kyle Naughton as Hutton's replacement, has told the Scot's representatives to find him another club, according to The Mirror.
West Bromwich Albion are said to be interested in signing Hutton.
