Athletic Bilbao have announced that leading scorer Aritz Aduriz will undergo surgery on his troublesome groin on May 16.
The 33-year-old, who has scored 16 times for the Basque outfit this season, has been struggling with the issue for the majority of the campaign.
With Bilbao's top-four spot now secure in La Liga, the club have revealed that the striker will undergo surgery in Munich next Friday.
Aduriz's goals have helped Bilbao claim 68 points from their 36 matches this season.
