Athletic Bilbao midfielder Raul Garcia has insisted that the team's success is more important than his own personal glory following his debut goal on Sunday.
The Spaniard, who joined Bilbao from Atletico Madrid in the latter stages of the summer transfer window, netted his new side's second goal in their 3-1 win over Getafe at the weekend.
Garcia revealed his delight at his debut strike, but has said that the three points were more important than his own success.
"The most important thing is that the team won. When the team do well, everyone benefits. I'm happy for the goal but more so for the victory," he told Movistar Plus.
"We wanted to come out strong and press, and we understood what the game asked of us. We got the first job done."
Aritz Aduriz also scored twice for Bilbao as they recorded their first league win of the season.
