Athletic Bilbao are reportedly set to make a move for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, whose contract is set to expire this summer.
The former Real Madrid man could make a return to La Liga as Athletic are hoping to sign the forward later this year.
Although the club's policy states that they will only recruit players from the Basque region, according to Marca, Higuain's grandfather is of Basque-French origin - meaning he is therefore able to make a move to the Spanish side.
The 32-year-old has managed five goals and four assists in 22 appearances for Juventus this season.
The forward has also been linked to potential moves to both Major League Soccer and the Chinese Super League.
