Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has revealed that he is looking forward to coming up against former teammate Raul Jimenez when Benfica make the trip to the Vicente Calderon in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Jimenez joined Atletico from America last summer, but scored just one league goal for the capital side before joining Benfica in the most recent transfer window.
Godin has said that it will be nice to come up against the Mexican, but has insisted that his team will need to be wary of the 24-year-old's qualities.
"We'll see if he plays, we know what he can offer, he's a great striker and we'll have to concentrate against him. We appreciate him a lot and we'll say hello but during the game we'll be rivals," AS quotes Godin as saying.
Jimenez has struck once in six games for Benfica this season.
