Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has said that he is "very happy" with his side's 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final this evening.
Saul Niguez scored the only goal of the game for the hosts at the Vicente Calderon as they frustrated Bayern on their way to a slender lead at the halfway stage of the tie.
Atletico surrendered the vast majority of the possession to their visitors, but Griezmann offered no apologies for Diego Simeone's style of play.
"We're very happy with a win. Our game is our game - defend strongly and convert our chances," he told reporters.
Atletico will now look to reach a second Champions League final in three years when they travel to the Allianz Arena for the second leg next Tuesday.
