Atletico Madrid have been boosted by the news that Saul Niguez has returned to first-team training following a rib problem.
The midfielder was taken to hospital following a heavy collision with Bayer Leverkusen's Kyriakos Papadopoulos during their Champions League last-16 first leg in Germany last month.
Atletico later revealed that the youngster had suffered "kidney trauma with internal bleeding", which led to a period on the sidelines. However, the 20-year-old has made a speedy recovery.
Saul, who has been a regular for Atletico this season, has returned to first-team training this week and is expected to be available after the international break.
