Fernando Torres has admitted that he is dreaming of lifting the Champions League with Atletico Madrid this season.
The Spanish striker, who is on loan to his hometown club from AC Milan for the remainder of the campaign, was in Atletico's youth academy when they claimed the domestic double in 1996, but never won a trophy as a player with them before joining Liverpool in 2007.
Torres says that he wants to get his hands on Europe's premier club trophy again, having won it with Chelsea three years ago.
"Hopefully I can experience a celebration at Neptune fountain (in Madrid) like I lived at 11 years of age when we won the double," the London Evening Standard quotes him as saying.
"I would like to experience this in the one way that has eluded me, as one of the Atletico players and hopefully it can happen this year."
