Atletico Madrid attacker Yannick Ferreira Carrasco returned to first-team training on Friday after spending the last three weeks on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
The Belgian had been expected to miss Sunday's La Liga clash with Valencia, but his presence at Atletico's training complex suggests that Diego Simeone will select the attacker in his squad.
Carrasco, 22, joined Atletico from AS Monaco in the summer, signing a five-year deal with the capital team and has made 21 La Liga appearances this season.
Diego Godin also trained on Friday amid suggestions that the centre-back was struggling with a muscular problem.
Atletico currently sit second in the La Liga table - eight points off leaders Barcelona.
