Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has said that Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak brings an air of calm to his team.
The 22-year-old joined Atletico from Benfica in the summer of 2014 but initially had to wait for his chance as Miguel Moya became the first-choice stopper following the departure of Thibaut Courtois.
Oblak has held the gloves since the middle of last season, however, and has started the new campaign in strong form.
"[Oblak] gives security to the team. He's intuitive, responsible and confident. He is still improving and continues to show why we signed him," Simeone told reporters.
Oblak has played in all 12 of Atletico's competitive matches this season and kept five clean sheets in nine league appearances.
