Atletico Madrid president Miguel Angel Gil Marin has said that the club cannot dissolve their ultras group.
A 43-year-old man, later revealed to be a Deportivo La Coruna supporter, lost his life on Sunday following clashes between both sets of supporters prior to their league clash with Atletico in Madrid.
However, Marin has insisted that the actions of "one idiot" is not a reflection of the Frente Atletico.
"I am repulsed and hurt by what happened because we had taken the steps to prevent this from happening, but I'm not one to dissolve the Frente Atletico," he told Cadena Cope.
"The club do not give any ultras money or match tickets, nor do we provide them with anything else, but there is always one idiot amongst those 4,000.
"I have friends whose children sit in the south stand, and they are good, well-mannered people. If someone is able to prove who [was responsible], we will denounce them as soon as possible."
Atletico won the match 2-0 at the Vicente Calderon.
