Real Sociedad caretaker manager Asier Santana has praised the Basque side following Sunday's 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid.
Sociedad fell 1-0 behind against the champions, but responded to record just their second La Liga win of the season.
"It's clear. I've fulfilled the task for this week and tomorrow I train with the B team having done my duty for La Real," he told AS.
"The feeling is the same for all levels but this is the first team and when you feel the support of the fans, I can't explain what it's like. We've gotten a lot out of the game . The players worked during the week and provided us with what happened today. I'm very happy.
"The victory is for the players and the fans, who were amazing. We've had bad times and they supported us without hesitation. We should be very proud of this team."
Santana, who is the head coach of Sociedad B, took charge of Sunday's match following the dismissal of Jagoba Arrasate last week.
Former Manchester United boss David Moyes is the odds-on favourite to take over the Spanish side.
