New Atletico Madrid signing Stefan Savic has declared his intention to help the club win silverware following his arrival at the Vicente Calderon.
The centre-back moved to the Spanish capital on a five-year deal from Fiorentina earlier this week after joining La Viola from Manchester City in 2012.
Having seen Atletico lift the Spanish title and reach the final of the Champions League just two seasons ago, Savic is hoping for more success during his time at the club.
"I am very happy to be here and to be part of this very big club and I am ready to start with my new teammates my new experience with Atletico," he told the club's official website.
"I expect a lot of success with Atletico such as trophies, that was maybe the main reason that I left Florence to come to Atletico, to try to win some trophies. I know they made some very important results the last couple of years and they are an aggressive team with very, very good players,
"They showed their quality when they won the Spanish league two years ago and played the final of the Champions [League]. This team is really, really good and I think every day is going to be better and better."
Savic is thought to have cost Atletico around £8m.
