Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has admitted that his team are currently struggling on their travels after losing 2-0 at Real Sociedad on Saturday afternoon.
Atletico have only won twice on the road in La Liga this season and have now lost their last two away games, which has left them six points off the leaders Real Madrid entering the international break.
Antoine Griezmann has not scored in the league since the start of October, meanwhile, and Simeone has called on the whole team to share the responsibility of scoring goals this season.
"We had a good first half, with chances to score, but La Real started better in the second, then came the penalty and we couldn't find a way to get back on level terms," Simeone told reporters.
"We must congratulate our opponents for the good second half they had, they deserved the win. We'll look to keep improving. The two incidents were penalties and the referee adapted well to the tempo of the game.
"Griezmann not scoring in the league is merely anecdotal, but we depend on the entire team for goals as opposed to only Antoine, and it's true that it's costing us, especially away from home."
Next up for Atletico is the Madrid derby against Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderon on October 19.
