Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has called on the powers-that-be to find "a solution" to football violence following the death of a Deportivo La Coruna supporter at the weekend.
Atletico and Depor fans clashed before their La Liga fixture in Madrid on Sunday, with it later being revealed that a 43-year-old man had lost his life.
"I am not a politician, I'm a football coach. From within the club we condemn violence in all its forms and we hope that the people who are working on this problem can find a solution," he told reporters at a press conference.
Simeone is currently preparing his side for Wednesday's Copa del Rey last-32 clash with L'Hospitalet.
