Mario Suarez has dedicated Atletico Madrid's 4-0 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday to club legend and former Spain boss Luis Aragones.
Aragones, who died at the age of 75 on Saturday, played for the capital outfit between 1964 and 1974 and also managed the club on four separate occasions.
"After three months without playing, I have to thanks the boss for his confidence. I felt very good. Also in the day of tribute to Luis Aragones, we have done what he always wanted to do, to win," Suarez told reporters at a press conference.
"Everything went well, we won, we're leaders. I'm very happy with everything, I dedicate this victory to Luis."
Suarez has recently returned from three months on the sidelines.
