Atletico Madrid are 'interested' in signing Bayer Leverkusen attacker Hakan Calhanoglu, according to the Turkish international's agent Bektas Demirtas.
Earlier this week, Demirtas appeared to reveal that Tottenham Hotspur wanted to sign the 22-year-old, who has three years left on his current contract, in the final week of the transfer window.
Atletico have also been credited with an interest in recent months and according to Calhanoglu's representative, the Spanish champions are monitoring proceedings, but have not yet made a firm bid.
"It is true, there is interest, but there is nothing concrete," Kicker quotes Demirtas as saying.
Calhanoglu scored eight times and registered 10 assists in 46 appearances for Leverkusen last season.
