Antoine Griezmann is reportedly set to turn down a possible move to the Premier League in order to join Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid this summer.
The 23-year-old has been widely linked both Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in recent weeks, but The Mirror have cited reports from AS suggesting that Diego Simeone's team are now in pole position to swoop for the Real Sociedad player.
Atletico are said to be desperate to bring in new recruits, having sold Diego Costa and Filipe Luis to Chelsea in recent weeks, as well as losing the services of Blues loanee Thibaut Courtois.
Griezmann impressed while featuring for France in Les Bleus run to the quarter-finals of this summer's World Cup, where they were beaten by eventual winners Germany.
