Bayern Munich have reportedly withdrawn their interest in Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic.
Having fallen down the pecking order at the Serie A champions, there has been talk of the 33-year-old returning to Bayern for a second spell at the Allianz Arena.
The Croatia international previously represented the Bundesliga giants between 2012 and 2014, contributing a total of 39 goals from 75 appearances in all competitions.
However, according to Bild, Bayern have opted against re-signing the veteran before the end of the summer transfer window.
The development could see Mandzukic attract stronger interest from elsewhere, with each of Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid having previously monitored the situation.
Mandzukic still has two years left on his contract.
