Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin has revealed that a deal to bring Borja Baston to the Liberty Stadium for a club-record fee is "imminent".
The 23-year-old is currently contracted to Atletico Madrid, but was loaned out to Eibar last season, where he scored 18 La Liga goals.
The deal taking the Spaniard to South Wales is thought to be worth around £15m as Swansea look to further strengthen their attacking options following the capture of Fernando Llorente earlier this week.
"I think it is close. I think it is imminent," Guidolin is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"I was happy with the squad before but I am more happy now because, with Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston, I think we have signed two good players, two very important players."
Swansea have already lost strikers Alberto Paloschi, Eder and Bafetimbi Gomis this summer, while Andre Ayew is expected to complete a move to West Ham United in the coming days.
The Swans' previous club-record signing saw Wilfried Bony arrive from Vitesse in 2013.
