Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old, a World Cup and European Championship winner with Spain, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Liberty Stadium.
"I am very happy to join Swansea," Llorente, who will wear number nine, told Swansea's official website.
"I have scored goals in La Liga and Serie A, and now I want to score a lot of goals for the club in the Premier League.
"I want to score a lot of goals like [former Swansea striker and fellow Spaniard] Michu. He is a very good player and did very well here."
The former Juventus forward could make his first appearance for his new club as early as Saturday when the Swans host Stade Rennais in their final friendly before the Premier League season kicks off.
