Leicester City have reportedly identified Juventus defender Gleison Bremer as a potential replacement for Caglar Soyuncu.
The Turkey international has made 127 appearances for the Foxes, chipping in with three goals and two assists since joining the club in 2018.
However, Soyuncu has fallen out of favour this season, featuring in just four games across all competitions.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign, the 26-year-old is expected to join La Liga side Atletico Madrid on a free transfer.
Atletico's salary limits prevented them from completing a January transfer, forcing them to wait until the summer before they can sign the centre-back.
With Soyuncu set to depart the King Power Stadium, Brendan Rodgers's side have already turned their attention to finding his replacement.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Foxes are considering a move for Bremer, who is under contract until June 2027 after signing for Juventus last summer.
Since joining the Bianconeri from city rivals Torino for a €50m (£44m) fee, Bremer has gone on to establish himself as a key part of Massimiliano Allegri's side.
Bremer has started 19 of Juventus's 23 league games this season, contributing one league goal during a 2-2 draw against Salernitana in September.
Leicester are reportedly prepared to offer up to €40m (£35m) for the defender, who has made three appearances for the Brazil national side.
With the Italian giants set to miss out on Champions League football for next season, they may be forced to cut their wage bill.
Juventus, who are currently sat in seventh place in the Serie A table, are 12 points adrift of the top four after having 15 points deducted due to alleged financial irregularities.
After missing Sunday's win over Spezia through suspension, Bremer is expected to return to the Juventus starting lineup for Thursday's Europa League playoff second leg against Nantes. body check tags ::
