Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis has insisted that he will not rest until the final Brazil squad is named for next summer's World Cup.
The left-back is widely expected to be part of the final party for the competition, but he has vowed to "keep working hard" in the months ahead.
"I know that it's going to be very difficult for me to be there and it doesn't just depend on me. I just have to keep working hard and playing well, always trying to improve and to give myself the best possible chance of going," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I'm not going to give up and I'll have to keep working really hard. Obviously I want to be there, but I have to be respectful of teammates in my place at the moment, who are doing a great job."
Real Madrid's Marcelo is currently the first choice at left-back for the former world champions.
