Defending champions Ajax have made it two wins from two matches in the Eredivisie this season with a 3-1 victory at AZ.
The visitors took the lead on 15 minutes when Davy Klaassen showed plenty of composure inside the penalty area to slot the ball into the bottom corner.
AZ failed to find the net during the remainder of the opening half, but they drew level soon after the interval as Steven Berghuis took a touch before firing low past Jasper Cillessen.
However, Ajax regained their advantage with 20 minutes left to play through Lasse Schone, who scored his third goal of the season with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
Frank de Boer's side then made sure of the win in stoppage time thanks to substitute Anwar El-Ghazi's shot into the top corner.
