A first-half own goal from Patric has given Llagostera a 1-0 win over Barcelona B in Spain's Segunda Division this afternoon.
Both sides saw plenty of the ball early on, but it was the visitors who created the first real chance of the match as Juanjo lost his marker to attempt a header from a corner, but his effort bounced back off the crossbar.
Llagostera continued to look the more likely of the two sides, and managed to break the deadlock when the ball was crossed in towards Juanjo again, but Patric got to it first and turned it into his own net while trying to make a clearance.
Patric tried to make amends for his error later in the half, but headed wide moments before Jean Marie Dongou missed at the other end.
Oscar Rico looked to double the visitors' advantage at the start of the second half, with a quick break leaving him with only the keeper to beat, but Adrian Ortola made the save.
The home side soon started to come back into the match as they sought a late equaliser, with Alen Halilovic attempting to drill the ball in but missing the target, ensuring that Llagostera held on for the win.
