Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has emerged as an injury doubt for his side's Champions League clash with Ajax on Wednesday.
The Spanish international did not train with the rest of his teammates on Sunday, with a muscular problem believed to be the reason for his absence.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the left-back underwent an MRI scan on Sunday afternoon, but the severity of the injury has not yet been ascertained.
Alba's reported absence would be a big blow to Barcelona, who will also be without the services of Jeremy Mathieu for the next three weeks.
Adriano, however, is fit for the Catalan outfit and could start against the Dutch outfit if Alba is ruled out of the European clash.
